Prudens Purple
This potato leafed variety produces large fruit that weigh up to 1 pound, + is dark pink/ purple in color, and has firm flesh with few seeds.+ An excellent tasting tomato that matures early. Good production; similar to Brandywine.
Sungold
Tomato lovers put away their candy once their Sun Golds start blooming, because Sun Gold fruit is so deliciously sweet. The cherry tomatoes grow in large clusters and are a golden orange hue.
Yellow Pear
These miniature pear-shaped tomatoes are 1-3/4 to 2 inches long and clear yellow in color. They are delightfully sweet, considered by many as 'garden candy'. Baskets of these are as pretty as can be. Tall plants bear large and continuous harvests.
Green Grape
Green Grape' was selected from a cross of two or more heirloom varieties. Ripe fruits are yellow-green: green at the shoulder, green with yellow veins at mid-section, and translucent yellow-green at the blossom end (resembling large Muscat grapes). Flesh and juice are green.
Green Zebra
Medium sized tomato ripening to a green color, with cream/yellow spots and stripes. The flavor is generally considered excellent and this variety often makes top ten lists for its taste. The Green Zebra is used heavily in salads and salsa for its mild sweet-acidic flavor blend.
Ananas Noire
Sometimes called the "Black Pineapple, " this unusual Belgian tomato produces loads of citrus, sweet & smoky fruit in greens, purples and yellows with red streaks. The fruit can grow up to 1.5 pounds and gives heavy yields. The Ananas Noire was introduced by Pascal Moreau in 2005.
Aunt Ruby's German Green
Aunt Ruby'is German Green produces pale green, 12 ~n 16 ounce beefsteak fruit that are smooth yet have a weird shape. The tomatoes are sweet and juicy and even a little spicy! The variety was developed by Ruby Arnold of Greenville, Tennessee.
Big Rainbow
Yellow tops and red bottoms characterize these huge fruits that can get as big as 2 pounds. Big Rainbow is a meaty beefsteak with a lumpy outside, and a weird inside, but its taste is mild and sweet.
Black Plum
These mahogany colored tomatoes have a unique, oval shape. The fruit are 2-4 ounces, and the skins are thin. These make for great paste tomatoes, with a sweet, fruity flavor, they are also great off the vine or in salads.
Brandywine Red
An Amish tomato from the 1800's, these productive plants grow 10 to 16 oz. fruits with classic, red-tomato flavor.
